Work Experience

With over thirty years of forensic accounting experience, all with Matson, Driscoll & Damico or its predecessor, Bill currently holds the positions of Managing Partner of the Midwest region and Chief Operating Officer of the firm. His practice is concentrated in damage measurements on behalf of insurance carriers as well as various investigative assignments that involve litigation.

Bill’s expertise includes large and complex assignments on behalf of insurance companies resulting from natural disasters as well as fires, explosions and equipment failures.  Most of those engagements include property damage to buildings, inventory and equipment as well as business interruption and extra expense exposures.  Bill has also been qualified as and has testified as an expert witness in both federal and state courts regarding lost profits, fraud, subrogation and business disputes.  His experience in alternative dispute resolution includes participation in insurance appraisals, arbitrations and mediations.

Bill has presented a variety of seminars to insurance adjusters, brokers and risk managers, fraud investigators and insurance underwriters on pertinent topics related to insurance valuations and other forensic accounting topics.
