Work ExperienceFlemming started his career with Matson, Driscoll & Damico 22 years ago as an intern in the firm’s Atlanta office. He then relocated to the firm’s Los Angeles office where he gained further experience and was made partner in 1994. Flemming accepted an offer to manage the firm’s UK office in London and relocated to England in 1995. Flemming now acts as the London office’s Managing Partner and is responsible for practice development and client services for the UK, London market and Europe. Flemming has international experience dealing with instructions in over 35 countries. His experience as a forensic accountant includes hundreds of assignments in the manufacturing, retailing, construction, wholesaling and service businesses, as well as professional services for doctors, accountants, lawyers and real estates professionals. Instructions include business interruption, loss of profits, physical damage, fidelity, financial condition and fraud evaluations. Flemming has also gained wide experience on catastrophe teams work while working on damages evaluations following Hurricanes Gilbert and Hugo, the Los Angeles Riots and Earthquake, Typhoon Mike in the Philippines Islands, the 1991 Gulf War (Damage Reparations) and most recently Hurricane Ivan, where he headed up the firm’s CAT office in Grand Cayman. He has also been engaged to provide expert witness services on a number of occasions within the US and the UK. His litigation experience includes expert witness testimony and the preparation of expert reports. In addition to client services, Flemming has presented various seminars to the insurance and legal service industry in relation to business interruption, loss of profits and damage assessment. |
