The Los Angeles office of Matson, Driscoll & Damico is primarily engaged in business interruption, property damage and inventory losses. They work predominantly with manufacturing and retail operations, as well as the hospitality, garment, entertainment and technology industries.

Their professionals have also handled numerous domestic and international product recall, tampering and contamination cases, including the recent national recalls of almonds and spinach. The litigation practice includes expert witness testimony in arson for profit and insurance fraud matters.

The Los Angeles office of Matson, Driscoll & Damico’s was the firm’s first on the West Coast. Originally opened by R. Dixon Grier in 1985 - now Partner for the firm’s San Francisco office - it has been managed by Daniel G. Markowicz since 1995 and is located in the heart of downtown Los Angeles.

The office currently consists of five professionals and has both a CVA and a CFE on staff. George Mora, Senior Manager and the office’s most senior staff member, first began his career at MD&D as an intern in 1986.
